Auto-bike accident injures bicyclist in Salt Lake City, Utah
A bike and a car collided last night in Salt Lake City, sending the bicyclist to the hospital.  Police say the bicyclist was going pretty fast down a steep hill near 1300 South and 800 East.

The driver of a blue van was heading the opposite direction and didn't see the bicyclist. He made a left-hand turn right in front of him.

The bicyclist hit the van's windshield. He was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical but stable condition.
